A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Summer Reception last night! Special thanks to our amazing Patrons, The Rt Hon Penny Mordaunt MP and Nicola Richards MP.
Our first Summer Reception was a chance to meet with our members, councillors, stakeholders, and other NGO’s to discuss all things ocean and the vital role they play in its protection.
We were also thrilled to be joined by former rowing World Champion and double Olympic Gold Medallist, James Cracknell OBE.
During the evening, we were pleased to introduce Cllr Zoe Huggins, our Ocean Council Chair. Zoe introduced her plans for supporting coastal communities and how local government plays a key role in our goals.
